Fun at Kingswood

Mom & Dad were babysitting Kayla & Jakob for the weekend while Trevor & Lori were on a romantic get-away. On Saturday, Mom, Dad, Kayla, Jakob and Chance came to Fredericton for a day-trip. We took the kids to Kingswood - they had lots of fun on the playclimber, playing some of the games and bowling.

Night Before the Haircut

This is the longest Poncho has gone between haircuts. He's just so cute when his hair is long. Dirty and smelly ... but still cute. You just have to ignore the fact he sleeps on our bed. (I know, I know, that gross ... but he's soooo cute.) So my youngest furbaby is getting his 'summer cut' tomorrow - appointment with Freda (she is a WONDERFUL groomer) is 2:30 p.m. Tonight after a little brushing (I don't know how the show dogs put up with all the fussing a Bichon would require in order to compete) I took a few photos.

Poncho will be tres fou-fou tomorrow - actually for the next few weeks - not sure if I'll take any more pics for a while ... poor thing. :(

Wendy's Birthday

We enjoyed Chinese Food and Tingley's ice cream cake at Wendy & Robert's tonight to celebrate Wendy's Birthday. Their youngest daughter, Sophie, is very photogenic!! In these photos, Sophie is wearing the dress we gave her for her Baptism. I love the colour - and I couldn't resist that hat. Sort of like Sophie couldn't resist digging into the birthday cake!

First post

Only bc I want to post a comment on Nicole's blog (re: her survey on hair washing) am I setting this blog up (I like surveys). But I must admit I have been reading a few blogs regularly and have been thinking about starting my own in order to display pictures, etc.

It's Friday of the long weekend - the first long weekend of the summer. I wish the forecast was calling for sunshine so we could get more yard work completed. But the rain will be a good excuse to stay indoors and curl up with my book (book club meeting is Wednesday night and I am only half way through the novel - oops).
